Description

Eendracht is a semi self-catering house built in 1928, that was restored to its original Art Deco style. We are situated in a uniquely historic area of Stellenbosch in the Western Cape province. Behind the house is the beautiful, much photographed, Moederkerk building, dating back to 1723, with its charming bells.

The units are all semi self-catering and most have their own lounges.
The bedrooms, serviced daily, are comfortably furnished with single or queen-sized beds and contain brand new 350 thread count linen and down duvets. Each room boasts an en-suite bathroom and kitchenette containing a fridge, microwave, basin and hotplate. Free high-speed internet and Wi-Fi is available for all guests.

At Eendracht we offer 12 luxurious rooms all en-suite with 100% cotton linen, down duvets, writing bureaus and all the usual luxuries. Some of the unexpected luxuries are surround sound DVD and a spa bath.

At the Minserie Street House, we have 3 semi self-catering units.  In keeping with the established standards which you would expect from Eendracht, we have added another building within 5 minutes’ walk from Eendracht. The same - yet totally different. The building is a 1928 listed house that was restored in its original Art Deco style.

Our coffee bar “Koffieklets” offers a sumptuous breakfast and some traditional South African delights like koesisters, melktert and “boeretroos” coffee. Light lunches are served. Guests can enjoy sundowners in our lady’s bar or book our meeting room for that inevitable meeting or two.

The check-in and out procedure takes place at the main Hotel, at 161 Dorp Street.

Situated in historic Dorp Street, in the centre of the oldest part of Stellenbosch, this village hotel is within walking distance of more than 60 excellent restaurants, coffee shops, major museums, over 6 art museums/galleries, 3 theatres and the soccer, athletic and rugby sports grounds. The Hotel is central to the famous Cape Winelands and is a mere 35-minute drive from Cape Town International airport and is just 55 minutes from Cape Town Waterfront.

At Eendracht we are eco-friendly and strive to restrict our – and our guests’ – carbon footprint as far as possible. For example all Eendracht’s lights have aesthetically pleasing energy saver bulbs and solar water geysers.

Make Eendracht your base from where to explore Cape Town, the Cape Winelands,  Whale Route and the beautiful West Coast, with its magnificent displays of wild flowers. All are within easy driving distance.
